Kathairos leverages the power of liquid nitrogen – a clean and inert gas – to drive many of its solutions, supported by a best-in-class liquid nitrogen distribution network, oil field logistics services, and data-driven emissions mitigation insights.

No power required, no operator involvement, no downtime

The system stores liquid nitrogen in a standalone tank and vaporizes it into clean, dry, inert nitrogen gas to power well site controls, at precisely the volume and pressure they require. It has no moving parts and requires no maintenance or outside power, rendering it the ideal solution for eliminating methane emissions at remote facilities.

Speed and scale

In line with Kathairos and Chart’s shared commitment to supporting the energy industry in quickly and effectively addressing methane emissions, each unit is built and delivered within eight weeks or less. Thanks to Chart's manufacturing capacity and our established North America-wide liquid nitrogen distribution network, Kathairos is capable of deploying thousands of units per month, and seamlessly and affordably 'recharging' tens of thousands of tanks on an ongoing basis.

Upon delivery to the customer's site, the cryogenic tank is simply tied in at a single connection point, where nitrogen immediately replaces methane as a fuel source for the pneumatic control systems and vented emissions are brought to zero.
